We just got back from a wonderful camping trip with friends and family down at Goblin Valley. Cody and Jessica Reynolds went down the night before and found an amazing camping site with our own little cove made of Goblins. Before we even made it to Goblin Valley the kids were off exploring and hiking. We even set up a little rappel at our camp site for the kids to practice on.
After everyone made it to camp, we headed out to the park. After some initial exploring, we played an incredible game of sardines amongst the Goblins. Then Back to camp for a delicious Dutch oven potluck!
The next morning, we went geocaching with Monte's GPS and finally found it! The highlight for many of the kids was the Goblin valley Easter Egg Hunt. The adults hid 70 treasure filled Easter eggs around the park (in caves, on top of rocks, in crevices, etc.) The kids had a great time scampering around finding eggs.
We finished up the adventure back near camp, where we hiked up Little Wild Horse Canyon, a beautiful canyon that narrows to a fun slot canyon. After a mile or so, we stopped and set up a few rappels for the kids and adults. It was awesome, especially when Cody's "Thor's Hammer" foot dislodged a large stone. We were all impressed.
All in all, it was a great adventure with family and friends!

Oh, such a fun adventure! My family loves Goblin Valley too - our favorite thing to do there was play hide and seek tag! Sorry I've taken so long to get my act together to check out your blog. :) I'm so excited to see your sweet, growing family!
